Hajvery University (HU) organized a grand orientation to welcome the new students at the Hajvery University Euro Campus. The orientation featured presentations & speeches by senior professors and cadre of the Hajvery University management. The basic objective of the orientation was to give the new students awareness about the university culture, rules.
The newcomers were briefed about the university’s history and about the various opportunities which are available to students from student-led societies, study & work abroad programs, volunteer and research work.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Pervaiz, Rector Hajvery University, kicked off the orientation Session with a presentation on HU, its campuses, facilities, faculties, and their determination to deliver the best education in HU Class Rooms. Director Administration, Maj. General Muhammad Latif also addressed the students. He emphasized the importance of making the most of university years and adhering to the rules of the university to ensure an excellent academic and university track record.
Departmental presentations were given by Deans, Heads of Departments & Faculty of various Schools. Mr. Umer Sheikh, Director Office of the Planning and Development welcomed the new students and assured them of full support by university management, department teachers, staff, and others during their academic journey. Prof. Dr. Naeem Khan Afridi, Dean HU School of Engineering & CS delivered a presentation on emerging trends in engineering which was appreciated by the audience.
Mr. Fahd Sheikh, HU Director, International Affairs delivered the closing speech and emphasized that the future is bright for all the students who endeavor to make the most of all the wonderful and amazing opportunities that Hajvery University (HU) provides to its students, inside and outside the classrooms. The orientation program was followed by hi-tea and musical evening to provide a memorable beginning to students.
