Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan
HU ranks amongst the handful of prestigious “W Category” Universities in Pakistan, recognized and accredited by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. HEC is an independent and autonomous statutory institution functioning in Pakistan with the primary objective of funding, overseeing, regulating, and accrediting higher education institutes in Pakistan.
Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC)
HU is recognized and accredited by PHEC as a leading higher education institute in Pakistan, delivering superior quality higher education. PHEC functions under the PHEC Act 2014 as an autonomous body of the Higher Education Department, working towards the improvement of the quality of higher education and recognition of higher education institutes in Pakistan, both in the public as well as the private sectors.
Government of Punjab
Hajvery University (HU) has been granted Charter by Govt. of Punjab (Pb. Ord. LIX of 2002)as an Autonomous Degree Awarding University. Our Degrees are accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), and all other relevant accreditation bodies. HU has evolved into a premier institution of higher learning in the country. Recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a “W4” Category (highest rank) university.
Pakistan Engineer Council (PEC)
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) accredits HU’s superior quality Engineering programs. PEC is a statutory body operational in Pakistan with the primary objective to regulate the engineering profession, acting as the driving force to foster sustainable growth in the field of Engineering. HU has evolved into a premier institution of higher learning in the country. Recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) as a “W4” category (highest rank) university.
Pharmacy Council Pakistan (PCP)
The Pharmacy Council of Pakistan accredits HU for its Pharmacy programs that meet the defined standards of excellence as set out by the Council. The purpose of the PCP is to not only sanction Pharmacy education in Pakistan but also to regulate the Pharmacy profession in the country. The council is also responsible for the registration of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians.

HU is recognized by the Council of Higher Education Turkey as an accredited partner university from Pakistan. YOK is the Council of Higher Education in Turkey, operating with the primary responsibility of supervising universities in Turkey, facilitating the acquisition of high-quality higher education.

What is HEC?
HEC stands for Higher Education Commission. The Higher Education Commission is a statutory body formed by the Government of Pakistan which was established in 2002 under the Chairmanship of Atta-ur-Rahman. Its main functions are funding, overseeing, regulating and accrediting the higher education institutions in the country.

Founded in 2002, Hajvery University is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Lahore (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Punjab.
This institution also has a branch campus in Sheikhupura. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Hajvery University (HU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor’s degrees, and master’s degrees in several areas of study.
