Pakistan Tennis Hero Aisam ul-Haq Quershi visited Hajvery University (HU) along with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital to create awareness about cancer treatment and to raise funds for the construction of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Peshawar.
Aisam-ul-Haq Quershi was given a warm welcome by the students of Hajvery University. During the address, Aisam ul-Haq Quershi spoke that Cancer is a symbol of hopelessness and death, for many, especially for those unfortunate who cannot afford the expensive treatment.
He mentioned that Shaukat Khanum has spent Rs. 14 Billion for the treatment of poor patients this year. And roughly 75% of the Shaukat Khanums patients are treated free of cost.
The construction of Shukat Khanum Hospital in Peshawar is like a ray of sunshine and hope for the people of the province of KPK.
