Pakistan is a culturally rich country. The people celebrate various natural, religious, national, and other events round-the-year. The most awaited festival is spring which brings back blooming flowers, green fields, and positive energy. In this regard, the Hajvery University organized Green Day & Spring Festival on 10th March 2018. A crowd of students from different departments of the university participated in the festival. The event was meant to celebrate the beautiful season of spring and to give the Hajvery University students a much-needed break from their hectic academic routines. Mr. Malik Muhammad Iqbal, Director Administration, Dr. Ahmed Mehmood, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy along with other university faculty members & students planted different typed of plant saplings in the university premises. The purpose was to create awareness and spread the message of saving our environment.

Further, the university students aesthetically decorated the university. The Spring Festival was a perfect combination of a variety of activities such as plantation, photography, declamation contests, painting, singing, face painting, cultural dance, skits, food stalls and Dj Music. Green, red, white dominated the celebration with many students adorning cultural dresses with vibrant embroideries. The best of the fun, entertainment, food and various festivities let a crowd of enthusiastic students immersed in the local culture and vibe and spent their whole day in celebration and delight.

Towards the end of the event, Mr. Malik Muhammad Iqbal addressed the concluding ceremony. He applauded the students for their enthusiastic participation in the festival. He said that such activities are necessary for student’s social training. The winners of each segment were presented with shields. The festival took place in the HU Euro Campus Lahore and covered by different TV Channels.

The Hajvery University students thanked Hajvery University management for organizing such a joyful and enjoyable event.
