26 Dec, 2011. Hajvery University’s Convocation 2011 was held at the HU Euro campus on Saturday, 24 December, 2011. A total of 472 graduates received their degrees.Convocation is the formal ceremony for the conferral of degrees. It is our time honored way to celebrate Our Students Academic accomplishments, and an opportunity  for the Graduates to share this important milestone with family and friends.

HU Convocation was presided over by Mian Hamza Shahbaz, MNA. Also present on the occasion were HU Board of Governors Chairperson Atif Mushtaq, and other B.O.G members, Deans & HoDs of Departments, and distinguished guests from all walks of life.

Of 472 students The 2011 Graduating batch included 161 Students from the HU Business School, 56 from the HU School of Fashion & Textile Design, 61 from the HU School of Pharmacy, 65 from the HU School of Commerce & Banking, 85 from the HU School of Humanities & Social Sciences, 44 from the School of Electronics, Telecommunication & Computer Science.

Chairperson, B.O.G, Atif Mushtaq, in his address, presented HU’s accomplishments for the year 2011, which included accreditation of HU Pharm D program by Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, International Linkages with Belgian and Turkish Universities, and HU’s several initiatives.

Mian Hama Shahbaz while addressing the Graduating students of Hajvery University congratulated them on this important achievement. He talked about some of the challenges facing Pakistan and how they can be overcome by Education.

This year, 38 gold medals and 39 Silver medals were awarded in recognition of academic excellence.

It is a proud moment for Hajvery University (HU) to see its Students Graduate. The Convocation is a symbol of Triumph and Award for one’s hard work, perspiration and dedication devoted in the University. It is the bumper harvest, for Pakistan, of the seeds that were sown during the years of their education. We wish our students very best in their future endeavours and believe that they will play a progressive role as agents of change in their respective fields.
