Overview

The Fashion Design programme aims to produce professional designers who are equipped to explain the career opportunities available in the broad field of fashion, and who are keen to respond to the challenges of designing for a better future. This programme is primarily concerned with women men and children wear design. It is project and studio based and the programme integrates design, technology and theory and actively promotes each students creative potential. All projects are under taken in answer to the given brief, which always allows for individual character, style and interpretation.

The programme has access to extensive accommodation and an excellent range of facilities including dedicated studio for personal work and open workshops with a variety of equipment and machinery. The focus is towards individual development of practical skills combined with a contextual awareness of cultural and practical skills.
