HU has a thriving social scene with active students societies offering the best possible social environments for the students. As part of extra curricular activities the university has a tradition to organize cultural shows and concerts. Students very actively take part in these activities. Many famous male and
female singers and groups have performed in these programmes. These functions are often arranged at university campus and at times in other auditoriums and halls.
HUDS (HU Debating Society)
Words are empowering in the hands of those you are articulate, who can express their point of view, persuade and dissuade others on social, political, economical issues or on absolutely anything else. Good speaking skills is the tool world leaders use to evoke emotions in the masses, it is also what a good sales person uses to meet his targets; so whatever your aspirations maybe in life you must polish your public speaking skills at HU.HUDS stands for HU Debating Society, and it gives a platform to the students who want to raise their voices or to learn how to speak well in Public.
HUMS (HU Music Society)
Either you have it or you don’t, if you have it don’t waste it. Music is commonly referred to as the food for soul. HUMS is the unification the god gifted bunch of students at HU who play to the beats of their peers on campus and during events.
