Moblink Talent Hunt Programme at HU

6 May, 2011. Mobilink’s youth platform Jazz Jazba launched a 2-day Talent Program at Hajvery University (HU) on 13-15 April, 2011 to harness the potential talent in a variety of categories by giving students a platform to showcase their talents on stage. The event was hosted by the popular host/actor Mani. The activity received an overwhelming response from students, as they participated in various competitions that included singing, acting and body building performances.

The two-fold program presented a platform for students to showcase their talent and be recognized by their peers, moreover it is also a recruitment drive to create a panel of Ambassadors.

In the first phase, registered students performed on stage to show what their “Jazba” is in front of their peers. The audience voted live for the winners. Over 10 contestants entertained their fellow students with their captivating performances. The winning Jazba, Zeeshan Gul Nawaz of Mba E-5 was declared the winner after an audience-poll. He was presented a Nokia phone and was selected to represent HU at the nationwide Talent Hunt competition organized under the auspices of Mobilink Jazba.

12 Sept, 2011. Adnan Abdul Khaliq is pursuing Telecom Engineering at Hajvery University. HU awarded scholarship to Adnan for a Study Abroad Semester at Fontys University, Netherlands. The Scholarship included Return Air Ticket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things.

HU Debating Competit

Annual meeting of Bo

The Deans of different Faculties at HU gave a short presentation to the Board Members on the progress of their respective Faculties and Research output. The Board Members presented new recommendations for improvements. The meeting concluded with a Lunch reception on Campus.

He was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey. The scholarship included Return AirTicket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things. The following essay is written by him, which presents a glimpse of his Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in the mesmerising city of Istanbul.

The following essay is written by him, which presents a glimpse of his Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in Europe: ‘During my exchange semester I travelled around different European countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Rome, Milan and Venice-Italy, Paris-France, Geneva, Bern and Zurich-Switzerland, Liechtenstein, feldkirch and Innsbruck in Austria and Hamburg, Frankfurt, Bremen, Kiel Berlin and Lubeck-Germany and a trip to Dubai on my way back!’
