Educational visit to TCL Nobel by Hajvery University (HU) Students of Commerce & Banking

14 January, 2011 – HU School of Commerce & Banking Students went on a Educational Visit to TCL Nobel Ltd  accompanied by Mr. Tahir Mehmood. The purpose of the tour was to provide students an opportunity to experience how a leading TV manufacturer conducts its operations, research & development, production and others areas of the business.

Mr. Monem Khan, factory manger guided the students with the history and the future prospects of the company. He told Students the Company has currently employs 200+ employees with which company is producing over 1200 televisions per day.

This was an excellent opportunity for students to do professional networking with their managers, and consider TCL Nobel as an employer when they graduate.

Taking about history, he told them that the Dynasel Limited (DSL) was incorporated in Pakistan on October 8, 1989. NOBEL is one of the leading television brands being produced by DSL in Pakistan with over 26% of market share.

He added that TCL NOBEL brand has been able to achieve recognition and confidence of the consumers in a short span of time due to its focus on quality, after-sales services and warranty support. He also mentioned that TCL Nobel has been engaged into a strategic partnership with TCL, which has enabled DSL to have access to TCL’s technology and know how.

Also, NOBEL is in a relationship with INDTEK Company Limited – Seoul, the third largest LCD manufacturer in South Korea, which has enabled it to compete successfully with international brands in Pakistan in the LCD sector with compatible technology, features and quality level.

The two hour visit was both informative and enlightening for the students.
