Hajvery University (HU) arranged an Educational visit for students of Commerce to Tripple-Em Ltd

24 April, 2012 - HU organized an Educational Tour of Tripple Em for students of Commerce to enhance their exposure and understanding of the organization, its production mechanisms, human resource management, marketing, and strategy of one of the oldest companies of Pakistan. HU Students were given the opportunity to gain practical knowledge of how Tripple-Em operates in fierce competition and do professional networking with the Management and HR department at the same time.

The company offers a range of snack food items to include Potato Chips, Nimko Mix, Peanuts, corn and potato based extruded products. Nation wide availability of the products is made possible by a vast and effective distribution network. Mr. M.S.Malik briefed HU students on Tripple Em’s vision to reach its customers in every corner of urban & rural areas of Pakistan. ‘We as a market leader are committed to maintaining the highest quality snacks production, with the latest state of the art technology.’ He said. He also explained the Quality Management Systems in place at their production plant.

30 Commerce students of Hajvery University (HU) along with a faculty member, Lect. Ghulam Ahmad Rana, visited Tripple-Em factory at Kot lakhpat, Lahore in the morning. After reception, students were divided in different groups and taken to the production area where students observed the operations of Tripple-Em, its packaging and saw how they manage to produce 700,000 packs each day.

The tour concluded with Q&A session; students showed great interest regarding company’s different operations and gained a lot by the insight given by Triple Em personnel. The students were given gift packs by the company’s reps aswell. HU Management is thankful to Triple Em for allowing the students of Hajvery University (HU) to gain firsthand experience into the production of snacks of the iconic brand: Triple Em.

Adnan Abdul Khaliq,

12 Sept, 2011. Adnan Abdul Khaliq is pursuing Telecom Engineering at Hajvery University. HU awarded scholarship to Adnan for a Study Abroad Semester at Fontys University, Netherlands. The Scholarship included Return Air Ticket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things.

HU Debating Competit

HU organized Debating Competition 2010 in two languages, English and Urdu, on October 21, 2010. After much anticipation, excitement and preparation Thirty students from all 6 Faculties, brought their scripts to life

Annual meeting of Bo

The Deans of different Faculties at HU gave a short presentation to the Board Members on the progress of their respective Faculties and Research output. The Board Members presented new recommendations for improvements. The meeting concluded with a Lunch reception on Campus.

3 Nov, 2011. Saad Azhar is currently pursuing Bachelors in Electronic Engineering at Hajvery University (HU). He was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey. The scholarship included Return AirTicket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things. The following essay is written by him, which presents a glimpse of his Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in the mesmerising city of Istanbul.

12 July, 2011. Humza Butt is pursuing BBA (Hons) at Hajvery University (HU). He was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at University of Flensburg, Germany. The following essay is written by him, which presents a glimpse of his Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in Europe: ‘During my exchange semester I travelled around different European countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Rome, Milan and Venice-Italy, Paris-France, Geneva, Bern and Zurich-Switzerland, Liechtenstein, feldkirch and Innsbruck in Austria and Hamburg, Frankfurt, Bremen, Kiel Berlin and Lubeck-Germany and a trip to Dubai on my way back!’

It’s always a race against time to service 1200+ people at one time, there must be 100+ people servicing them, and we are all running around distributing roti, pani, saalin & meetha among our guests. 10 years down the road, the sight of all these people sitting having iftari with us amazes us each time..
