- TEDxHUP Post Event Volunteer Get Together @ Hajvery University
30 April, 2012.To celebrate the success of TEDxHUP, a post event get together of volunteers was held on 20 March 2012. This was the first TEDx event organized at HU, and was attended by more than 350 people which included dignitaries, foreign diplomats, media persons, Students of all Universities and TED enthusiasts from all over Pakistan.
TEDxHUP International Conference was Organized by Hajvery University (HU) under license from TED, USA. It was held on Saturday, February 4 at the HU Euro Campus.
The Conference brought together the Movers & Shakers of Pakistan as Keynote Speakers; from the former Governor of Punjab, Lt. Gen (r) Khalid Maqbool Sb, Academia: Chairman HEC, Dr. Javaid R. Laghari Sb, Senior Journalists: Oriya Maqbool Jan Sb, Javed Chaudhry sb, and the remarkable Mohammad Malick Sb, Senior Foreign Diplomat, US Consul General: Ms. Nina Maria Fite, Google, Country Consultant, Badar Khushnood Sb, CEO Depilex, Ms. Massarat Misbah, Media & Cultural Icons: Mian Yousuf Salahuddin Sb, Adeel Hashmi Sb, Ms. Huma Amir Shah delivered their talks, and shared Dreams for Pakistan.

Current students of Hajvery University (HU) volunteered for the organising committee of TEDxHUP and played their parts very effectively in making this event a mega success. In appreciation for their efforts, Certificates of Recognition were distributed amongst them. Curator of TEDxHUP wished the students best of luck, in his concluding remarks, and encouraged the students to engage more in such healthy activities.
