The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Islamabad Chapter , in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) and MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan, is pleased to launch local leg of All-Asia Business Plan Competition (AABPC), an international program designed in conjunction with the Rice University Business Plan Competition to give local entrepreneurs and graduate-level university students in Asia a real-world experience to fine tune their business plans and elevator pitches to be able to generate funding to successfully commercialize their product and launch their StartUps. The event gives an opportunity to Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Faculty members and Students to compete together as a team.

Mr. Mario Vottero visited Hajvery University (HU) from Brussels, Belgium on 14 October, 2011 with the aim of conducting ROM (Results Oriented Monitoring) on behalf of European Commission – EACEA, for the project involving those students who were sent aboard to Study Abroad Scholarships to partner Universities of HU.The purpose of his visit was to assess the impact of such projects, and to better understand the internal procedures adopted by HU in execution of EM-ECW.

He was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey. The scholarship included Return AirTicket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things. The following essay is written by him, which presents a glimpse of his Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in the mesmerising city of Istanbul.
