School of Pharmacy, Hajvery University has organized a very knowledge worthy and successful one day scientific conference entitled “International Conference on Pharmaceutics and Neuropharmacology” on 24th April 2013 in collaboration with Department of Clinical Neuroscience, University of Cambridge, UK and Pakistan Pharmacist Association. Funding body for this entire event was PPQP, National Talent Pool, Ministry of Education and Training, Government of Pakistan.
Hajvery University (HU) is extremely proud to announce the inauguration of its “Center for Entrepreneurship & Leadership” (CEL) in partnership with SME Business Support Fund, Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan. CEL focuses on development of entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurship amongst youth of Pakistan. The program focuses on a triple helix model highlighting joint collaboration between academia, industry and the Government. This center would not only allow capacity building of the youth based on hands on knowledge through network of mentors, industry and private sector champions but also ensure collaboration of new ideas with potential investors for angel investments, seed money etc.
This year on February 02, 2013 one such exhibition was organized in which very creative art work was presented by our students. New themes unique colors combinations and variety of design made the event very scenic. The onlookers admired the work and praised the styles, creativity and presentation.
HU Convocation 2012 was held on Saturday December 29, 2012. Honorable Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman presided over the convocation and conferred degree upon our graduates. Also present at the occasion were Chairman Board of Governors Mr. Atif Mushtaq, Director Administration Maj Gen Muhammad Latif, Deans of faculties, Head of Departments, Faculty members and distinguished guests from all walks of life.

In the spirit of celebrating the academic accomplishments of aspiring & hardworking students of HU, an “Honor Roll Ceremony” was held at 11 AM on Saturday, 17 November, 2012 at HU Euro Campus. The Honorable, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Chaudhry Zaka Ashraf presided the ceremony as the Chief Guest. The Deans Honor Roll is a time-tested way to celebrate the achievements of young, talented and very hard-working students of HU.
14.11.12 – HU Office of Foreign Affairs & Planning Organizing an Information Session for Hajvery University’s Students who are Interested in applying for Scholarship Opportunities offered by the US Educational Foundation Pakistan. Mr. Zafar Baig, the Principle Educational Adviser at US Educational Foundation Pakistan delivered the info-session. During this session, Mr. Baig shared with the students the various Undergraduate, Graduate, and Fulbright Scholarship Opportunities being offered by USEFP for studying abroad in United States of America.
November 06, 2012. An International Inter Disciplinary Engineering Seminar was held in the double storied auditorium of Hajvery University (HU) Lahore. Dr. Abdul Aleem Khan Chairman Institute of Engineers Jeddah KSA (Electrical Engineering Discipline), Dr. Javed Yonas Uppal Chairman Institute of Engineering Pakistan Lahore Center (Civil Engineering Discipline), Mrs Fareeda Javed Local Advisor Pakistan Engineering Council (Mechanical Engineering Discipline) spoke on the subject “Design and Development” which was introduced by the Dean of Faculty of Engineering (HU) Dr. Naeem Akhtar Khan Afridi.
Ayesha Ansari is currently pursuing BBA (Hons) at Hajvery University (HU). She was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at Hochschule Liechtenstein, situated in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The scholarship included Return AirTicket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things. The following essay is written by her, which presents a glimpse of her Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in Europe.
09.10.2012 – Orientation Ceremony 2012 was held at Hajvery University (HU) on Monday, 8 Oct 2012. New Students from Business Management, Fashion Design, Commerce, Computer Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering, Textile design & Media Studies participated to learn how to make the most of their University Years at HU. The Orientation aims to acquaint new students with the opportunities available at HU, such as Extracurricular activities, Sports, Student Societies, Seminars, Educational Tours, Conferences.
HU Office of Foreign Affairs arranged a pre-departure seminar to prepare the students selected under the Comprehensive scholarship to study abroad free of cost, in partner universities of HU in Germany, Netherlands, Turkey, Lichtenstein and others. International travel and being an exchange student can be a daunting experience, especially for the first time.
