Convocation is a very special event that brings together graduates and members of the Hajvery University (HU) community. For graduating students, it is a time to celebrate their accomplishments in front of family and friends. And for members of the University community, it is a time to celebrate the efforts of students they have supported during their studies at the Hajvery University (HU).

Hajvery University / Syed Ali Hajvery Institute first convocation was held successfully and graduates of MBA and BBA were conferred degrees by Mr. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister of Finance and Commerce.

On 2nd Convocation, Honourable Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, graced the occasion with his presence as a Chief Guest and conferred degrees on our BBA / MBA graduates. The occasion was further glorified by presentation of a Gold Medal by The Chairman Hajvery University to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan in recognition of his meritorious services rendered to the nation.

On 3rd Convocation Prof. Dr. Atta-ur-Rehman the Federal Minister for Science & Technology graced the convocation as the Chief Guest and he conferred degrees to HU graduates. The honourable Federal Minister also gave free P-III Computers to bright students. He on this occasion also laid the foundation stone of a new campus at 33-Industrial Area Gulberg-III, Lahore.

This university has come up very well and is most modern, purpose built, first of its kind in the private sector. Fourth and fifth convocations of Hajvery University were held in  2004 & 2006. Then Chancellor Lt. Gen. (R) Khalid Maqbool, Governor Punjab, conferred the degrees and awards on graduates. He commended the performance of students.

HU’s subsequent Convocation, Mian Hamza Shahbaz Sharif graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The recent convocation was by Mian Mujtaba Shujah-ur-Rehman who  presided and conferred degrees upon graduates. The second segment of the event was reception with live music- Qawali & Ghazal by renowned artists. The event was concluded by a Dinner.
