Problem solving strategies
Problem solving methodologies are considered state of the art teaching strategies in engineering education at HU. All courses are designed to pass the students through the process of defining and understanding concepts, evolving problem solving methodologies and procedures and validating the results through convention computation methods. This approach enables the students to acquire skills and competence in understanding, developing technique and evaluating the results in a coherent manner.
 
Mathematical Modeling and Simulation
Engineering problems require detailed and complex analysis of different aspects of a problem and its solutions, it is important that all possible scenarios and solutions are examined and critically evaluated before implementing real life systems to avoid unnecessary errors and subsequent costs. All complex problems are studied with the help of modeling and simulation tools such as mat lab, pspice, electronic workbench etc.
 
E-Learning
Modern day education requires that students have access to learning materials from where ever they have access to the internet. Learning management system and e-learning portals along with e-learning content in the form of e-learning object and e-learning design using International Learning Design standards such as IMS- Learning Design are essential and required to offer a modern e-learning system. HU is a pioneer university to adapt sophisticated Computer Aided Instruction in the form of modern portals, virtual laboratories and classrooms. Computer based assessment is important part of this system.
