Inspiration The expressiveness is of focal interest in fashion design. This makes the unique perspective of design an important part in learning. The objective of the programs is to introduce design methods in fashion design so that students can understand the different categories of design, from haute couture to read-to-wear, and learn the different stages of the design process in a systematic manner. Students are taught to appreciate different forms of styles through reflection and critical discussions during lectures, on the history of fashion design. The curriculum incorporates experimental fashion design focusing on the expressiveness of wearing and uses, moreover its practical application through Exhibitions and Fashion Shows.
Project Work Project work and Group Projects are at the core of this program. Such projects provide relevant learning practice in relation to a specific area of fashion design. As such are meant to explore the subject on greater depth and open up for reflection and critical discussion through the practical application of the theories.
My Gallery My Gallery is a place where students of SFD proudly hang their best work for the world to look at and see their potential. To put the Students of HU on a truly Global platform, HU took the initiative to create a place fit for luminaries of SFD and accessible to 6.5 billion people in the world at the same time.
